Applications for Awards are submitted via an online application form from this website with your presentation or video entry attached. Schools may enter multiple Award categories, however, separate applications targeting the specific category must be entered.
Award presentations are judged according to a determined set of judging criteria which must be addressed in your presentation/video. Judging is undertaken by the VSGP Committee Advisory Committee and Awards rewarded to the highest scoring schools.
Schools are permitted to enter more than one Award category, however, separate applications must be entered targeting the specific category. Multiply entries with the one presentation will not be accepted.
Schools who won an Award category in the previous year, may not enter the same category unless it is with new/different achievements in their garden than previously entered.
All Award entries (with the exception of the Best Use of a Grant Award, PP5 Recycling Champion Award and kindergarten entries) are automatically entered into the Regional Awards from which the State and Kevin Heinze Perpetual Awards winners are chosen.
