Award Entry Dates
Award entries opened on 2 June and were originally scheduled to close on 25 September. The deadline has now been extended to Friday, 10 October at 5:00pm.
Awards categories are announced early in the year to enable schools to record the progression of their garden/s throughout the year for their Award entry in their chosen categories.
Award Entry Process - new system
A new Award entry process has been developed to eliminate the design element of presentations and improve efficiency.
Entrants will be able to directly add answers and photos into the template, eliminating the creation of a presentation.
1 – Register to enter an Award entry
You must register by creating a log-in and password to use the application system.
You will be required to remember your email and password to enter Award entries and Grant applications.
2 – Starting your Award entry
Please ensure that you have read the Entry Guidelines and Judging Criteria prior to starting your Award entry.
It is recommended that you save your Award entry answers in a Word document as a security measure, then copy and paste them into the application. Click here to download an Award Entry Template to use.
Click on your chosen Award category under the ‘Start my Application’ menu, to enter the application form. The Awards category menu will only show when you are logged in.
3 – Saving an Award entry
When you press save on the application page, it will save your progress.
If you are exiting the application to return and complete later, you will need to add your email address so a link to your saved Award entry will be sent to you.
4 – Returning to your saved Award entry
When ready to return to your saved entry, press the link in the email. You will be able to go back to previous pages once in the application.
IMPORTANT – If you do not return to your draft application via the sent link, and return via the website, you will begin a new entry in the same category.
If you misplace the email, you will have to contact the VSGP office on 9576 0599 to resend the link.
5 – Submitting your Award entry
Your Award application will not be entered until you press ‘Submit Application’ upon which time you will receive a confirmation email of your Award entry.
You will not be able to make any amendments to your Award entry after it had been submitted.
